A pediatrician and endocrinologist-diabetologist, she combines primary care practice with interests in diabetes prevention, obesity, telemedicine, digital health, and pediatric education.

Prof. Othman Hamdan is President of the Syrian Pediatric Society and a senior representative of the pediatric community in Syria.
